#82467, "my fuel milage is crappy for some reason"

I am trying to figure out why my fuel mileage is so crappy. Even if I drive my car normally it still sucks up a ton of gas. I do have a check engine light but it is for a small EGR leak. (at least im pretty sure it is) but i dont think my list of mods could cause bad gas mileage. and i have a new 02 sensor, but a lot of oil got burned before my new motor, could that have clogged the 02 sensor up a lil? but it kind of sounds like its running rich, not really misfire, but too much fuel, and i can smell it pretty good too. any ideas?

or cleaned your fuel injectors.

Shit I got my injectors cleaned proffesionally as well as the WHOLE fuel system for like $70 USD.

I got 150 miles more out of a tank of gas.

I'd try checking your codes again as mentioned. It could be any number of things. For whatever reason the ECU believes it is not getting enough fuel and is therefore sending more. Double check your timing marks too, it should be dead on. In my experience 2GNT's really on run and idle properly when timing is dead on. There really seems to be no forgiveness.

your problem is with the EGR leak...i did a temp fix on mine to see if it mattered and i went from 200miles on a tank to over 300 by just getting rid of the CEL...i removed the fix and mileage immediatly went down.
