Has anyone here disabled their PCV system or put a restrictor on it? I was told to do this for total seal rings. I searched and found mentions of doing this, but not how it's actually done. Also, any opinions on whether to disable or restrict are welcome.

I used one of those plastic clear pods that hold paintballs (100rds). I ran 2 hoses from it, one from the valve cover and another to the intake manifold. And I mounted the catch can on the firewall next to the brake fluid reservoir. (I removed the windsheild washer water tank)
I still havnt bought a breather filter becasue they are like $10 at Autozone... so I just keep the lid on it. It still works, I've had it on for about acouple of weeks already and I already have about half a teaspoon of oil in there already.

Yeah, Howell Automotive's catalog says that the Total Seals reduce blowby so much that the PCV system will start to scavenge oil from the crankcase = oil consumption.
