I was curious how you plan on boring your block out to a 2.2L? Stroking it, yes, that'll work. Sock is 1996cc, if you bore it out 0.060, you'll come up with 2066cc, even at 0.080 (which I don't believe is realistic), you'll have 2090, which would round up to a 2.1L.

bad idea, cant be done. if you want a 2.2 you have to do a swap.

if you want to go that big you will need to do a wet sleeve install and lets face it its not worth. you will 2.2l with 2.0 worth of torque. 2.2 is a waste go 2.4.

First, I fail to see how 10% more motor is a waste, and second if she is asking this question do you really think she is ready for a fully custom 2.4L install.

for 3000.00 in parts and machining its a waste, the bang for buck is not there. if it were we all would have one. i dont care if you see it my way or not, thats what is nice about opinions, everyone is entitled to their own.

howell makes a stroker kit. Most of the displacement comes from a different crank and different rods (if im not mistaken). Rods have a higher wrist pin setting and a lower dome and a longer stroke from the crank itself. I dont' think it would still be worth the money and the extra .2 liters of displacement. I would rather go with a long rod kit or a 2.4L

my car will sound like, bumbabumbubavrooooooooooooooomrooooooooahhhhhhhhhhhhh, kishhhhhh
