Since it didn't stay on I drove it home...no problems at all. This morning I pop the 'ol hood and look at the dipstick. Dry. But I wasn't really worried because it seems like my dipstick is never accurate. So I dumped in a quart and the car has been just fine.
I haven't seen any leaks anywhere on the ground when I park and I don't think I'm burning any oil (no blue clouds following me when I drive). Anybody have any ideas?
I'm not going to be able to change the oil til Saturday because I work tonight and I'll need the car for school tomorrow and friday night.

It's hard to explain the unaccuracy thing.
But I just changed my oil and I have no idea how it could burn away that fast without the car running like ass. And as far as leaks go...my garage floor has nothing.

When you change your oil, and dump in 4 quarts the dipstick will read full.
Then if you run it for about 5 minutes, the oil circulates through the engine and the dipstick will read empty. The car actually takes almost 5 quarts to be full.
Do the oil change properly, a friend of mine destroyed his built motor because Pepboys didn't do a warmup check on his car after they changed the oil.

Good call. Do you add any extra on top of that to compensate for the oil that the turbo uses?

No, just fill it until it consistently reads full on the dipstick with the engine warmed up and then turned off. Don't overfill or you'll blow your seals.
The dipstick will be totally innacurate with the engine running because the oil will be splashing around in the pan.
The turbo oil feed line holds about 2 teaspoons of oil, so you don't really need to compensate for that.

The car has ran perfectly since the last oil change so I wouldn't think that the original amount of oil is the problem. Like the guy above said I'd have to be losing it somehow. But if the car runs great, no burning oil smell or blue smoke, and no leaks on the ground then what the heck?
