lately my car has been bucking like hell if i give it too much gas.... at first it was stuttering, and bucking at high rpms... say second gear at 5k-7k rpms... now it does it anytime i floor it...say downshifting from 3rd to 2nd and gunning it...it will just buck like crazy until i ease off the gas, then it runs like a bat out of hell... at one time i had code 1391 i think...it was the cam sensor...ive tried two different ones and it didnt change anything... i looked at the wiring harness and no wires were melted.... anyone ever had this problem...i did a search and it seemed everyone else had a timing problem... i do have crane 14 cams, aem gears(remarked), and im turbo....but i doubt the timing would of actually (jumped) because the car runs good anywhere else and idles decent... what am i missing?

Sounds like it could be that the cam gears need to be tuned. What are the cam gears set at now?

You have access to a logger? You may not be throwing a CEL for it but it almost sounds MAP related. Check it's voltages.

Make sure the plug is secure in its socket. Mine did that, and it was because the plug was rocking in the socket when the engine would torque on its mounts.

like i said, i had the same exact problem my friend.

p1391 is CKP or CMP connection. cmp being cam sensor, and ckp being crank. any short or discrepency in the wiring here will cause you much grief. check both sensors.
