Hey, recently I purchased some OBX adjustable cam gears only to find out that they are pieces of crap that have the wrong timing marks on them. I was going to buy some Unothodoc cam gears, but then I saw that Crane makes a set for our cars. Are they just as good as the Unorthodox, or do they also have the timing marks problem like the OBX and AEM cam gears? Anyone have the Crane cam gears, if so, are they marked right. I'm wanted to buy them today to get things moving again, so help me out. Thanks

Hey, thanks for the input, but I already have Crower 2 cams. I'm trying to find a good set of cam gears that have correct timing marks on them, unlike OBX cam gears. Let me know people, come on.

Buy the Crane cam sprockets? What about the AEM sprockets? I heard they fixed their timing mark issue. Anyone else hear that?

I got Fidanza, they are good also. They use 5 bolts unlike AEM's 3.

I'd go the modern performance route. They are pretty cheap and their customer service is good.

please please LISTEN!! crane cam gears are for a 2.4 the timing marks are off and the offset is off over a 1/4" so your timing belt is hanging off the side... is that a good thing?? NO! For that reason crane has discontinued manufacturing cam gears cause THEY SUCK ASS! now buy some unorthodox of fidanza and have confidence in what you buy since they are well known for quality. I personally would prefer to have my timing correct and not have my bolts come off and smash my SS valves onto my Je pistons, but that's just me. I bought crane and i regret it very much, sent em back and bought unorthodox just like crane bitched at me over the phone to do. Search for crane cam gears you will see the stories.

my car will sound like, bumbabumbubavrooooooooooooooomrooooooooahhhhhhhhhhhhh, kishhhhhh

I think I'm going to go with unorthodox, they're expensive, but so is the shit that the gears are gonna be running.
