alright we all know that once our temp gauge gets to regular temp it doesn't move......atleast mine did....but now it goes up above the temp sign on the gauge....or about a quarter inch from the H....it never hits the H though....and after a while it goes back down to the middle or normal spot like its cooling off...is this something i should be worried about or since it doesn't go to the hot i shouldn't worry...could this be a sign that my thermo. is going out or what.......anyone else delt with this..

will post more pics when front is painted

Are you talking about your stock gauge? There are a couple of things it could be. 1st check the coolant level when the car is cold.

I'd get an autometer temp gauge. Mine moves between 190 and 210 quite a bit. I think it's worth it if you want more accurate readings. As for the stock one, mine never moved either and one day just stayed right in the middle never to be moved again. I think it's shit!

Its at the top of the big black hose that goes from the radiator to the head on the passenger side.
