#8153, "muffler size???"

what's best? 250mm or 300mm? I'm guessing 300 is better sounding and better overall???

the 250 and 300mm are inlet sizes. i think they come out to like 2.3 inches and 2.8 inches or sumthin close to that.

i wouldnt think it would matter, it would just depend on your piping size.

i would get the larger one, and when u have it installed, use a 2.5-3" adaptor, and have the welder weld it up on to it. if you get the smaller one, it might not allow the added performance of the larger piping because it gets small again at the spot where the muffler will attach.

i hope that helps

then again, its 25.4 mm/1 inch, so the 250 mm = 10 inches, and the 300=about 14 inches. that might be the overall length of the muffler, sorry if i put u on the wrong trak.

Ya I think that is the length of the muffler, either 250 or 300 mm (25 cm or 30 cm). The longer muffler should be able to quiet the sound a bit better, but you have to make sure it will fit...
