ok wtf .. i get the bosch o2 sensor . the one that is already cut to lenght and what not . so i go to install it and i see that the other end of the sensor is giong into this fucking 1 inch hole and its way yp in there .. how the helll am i supposed to get to that . I swear im so close to running my car off a cliff its not even funny . If i had full coverage insurance i would believe me , dsms fucking suck . so how am i supposed to get into that hole ? its pissing me off . how do i get to that plug in ? are there bolts to take off a shield ? and what happens if one of the bolts are stripped ? im soo fucking pissed . someon help . lol . I can pull and reinstall a head , but i cant replce a god damn o2 sensor.

so are you talking upstream or downstream o2 sensor? upstream, the one on the downpipe, or the downstream, the one right by the cat? i would suggest taking off any heat shields around the area. that could make it alot easier.

if there was a heat shield ... its down stream .. i was told you have to look under the drivers side carpet .

if it's downstream then just get your ass under the car, it's right freaking there, right on the exhaust pipe by the catalytic converter.

yeah i know ... i was down there forever .. obviously you have never been down there . b/c the o2 goes from the exhaust pipe , to where the cord runs into a 1 inch hole , and there is no way to get up in there.

ok got it fixed . but my cel is still on and it still flashes the same code ... how do i fix that .. do i have to reset anything ?

either use a scan tool and clear the code, or unplug the battery for 15 minutes emoji
