The parts for the rebuild just came in yesterday and i was trying to assemble the gapless piston rings that the kit came with, but I am a little confused...

I put the top ring in the top groove, then I put the middle ring in the middle the groove. Then in that middle ring, I put the skinny rail that fits into them (to create the gapless effect). And then on the bottom is the traditional setup.

However, I have 4 of those skinny rails left over that fit into the middle ring. Am i supposed to put these somewhere that I am not aware of, or are they just extras?
