well i go to get into my car this morning and the damn thing won't start. just cranks. so i take out my plugs and they're freaking dry. is it my fuel pump or is it my fuel pump relay?! it's 8:11am right now and i've already accepted the fact that i'm missing all my classes today, but i have a job interview at 12 and i would really be pissed if i couldn't make that. please help me, preferably fast. thanks

yes i do have a multimeter, but i'm terribly uneducated about how to use it. do i test it while someones cranking it? i have new plugs, accel 8.5mm plug wires, fuel filter is a year old, i just did some fuel injector cleaner about 2 tanks of gas ago.
on a side note... i just tested the test port on the fuel rail and when i pressed it, there was a big squirt of gas that came out. i guess the fuel pump is working. is it possible that the fuel pump relay is shot. i've been having trouble with a hesitation lately so maybe this is somehow related. damnit!

your gonna laugh at me for this one...but before you go around testing everything and replacing parts...make sure the bottom plug on the ECU is plugged all the way in. same exact thing happened to me a few months back. car wouldent start, just kept cranking, checked for fuel..no fuel, so i figured fuel pump or relay. for some odd reason i just pushed in on the bottom plug and it was out by about 1/16", tried it, and car worked fine! hopefully its that easy for you. otherwise...start checking all the aforementioned stuff

well actually i will not laugh at all. i am always open for ANY possible solution, stupid or not. i have actually read that post of yours about plugging in the bottom ecu plug. i tried it, no love.

oh boy, well i've got some bad news... i had a spare computer laying around from and AUTO 96 NT eclipse/talon. i figured i would try it just incase, even though mine is a 5spd. As soon as i put it in, i cranked it and it turned over immediatly. i took it for a ride around the block. it doesn't run perfect but it runs pretty darn good considering it's an auto ecu. so now my bigger problem lies in this post... http://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=4&topic_id=66028&mesg_id=66028&page=
