Hook an air compressor at 5psi up to one of your vacuum lines and listen for the hissing.

I wouldn't reccommend 5psi. Supposed to use 1psi regulated air to check for leaks. Would not take much to blow a solenoid or canister or put air back where it shouldn't be. I am still researching this elusive issue. I know that many of us have the problem "Co-Driver" code. Got my fingers in a lot of pies right now so please bear with me?

So now at 44 what the hell do I do?

Fine 1psi then, doesn't really matter.

FWIW I've put 18psi into my system for extended periods of time (turbo) and have yet to blow any EVAP components. I've launched the little EVAP purge solenoid (UFO looking disc at the front of the block) into my fans a few times maybe, but even that didn't cause any component failures.

If you just start your car and go to the gas station and fuel up while its running you will get that code. All the times i have gotten it it was a hose or doing that.
