#80994, "where can i get a bigger throttle body!!! (60mm)"

i have a 95 rs with min. performance upgrades. but i will be doing more soon. the first thing on my list is the 60mm throttle body. but there's two problems. i am really busy therefore can't have my car in my garage torn to bits for any amount of time. and two i have min. money. i know MP makes a 60 mm for 210.00 but i'm looking at something cheaper. it doesn't have to look good just work well. if somebody out there knows of a place that makes a direct conversion i would be really happy. or if you want to sell a jeep TB that is direct swap for mine than i'll be interested... pm me or better yet just email me

Wildflyer897@earthlink.net

thanks

i know this isnt exactly answering your question but if you arent turbo or dont plan on being turbo in the near future, 60mm is too big. look into having your stocker bored out to 54mm. if you must have a 60mm tho, post an wtb ad in the sale section.

You can also modify a Jeep throttle body to fit our cars. Check my sig for the writeup.

i went to a jeep dealer once and got prices on the TB's, and all the ones i found were more expensive then the modernperformance one, and you dont need to fabricate to make it fit.

seriously go to a junkyard or e-bay and you can get one for about $20-$40. One for a 4.0L Jeep basically anyone listed in that write up will work. Best bet if ur NT on the jeep is that is starts at 60mm then tapers off BEHIND the throttle plate. You can have it re-tapered to whatever you feel is right for your application. Im going from 60-58mm taper so i don't have to add material to my intake manifold.

my car will sound like, bumbabumbubavrooooooooooooooomrooooooooahhhhhhhhhhhhh, kishhhhhh
