so i finally go the udp on. thanks to those who helped me.

i turn on the car, let it idle for a few minutes, check the oil (cuz i did oil change too). then i turn the car off cuz i see sum dripping goin on down by the thermostat on the upper radiator hose. well, i tighten the O clamps down, and go to start the engine again, and i get this clik clik clik clik noise.

the battery is good cuz my interior lights come on, its just when i push in the clutch and turn the key i get these cliks and the lights on the dash blink along with the cliks.

does anybody know was goin on??

so i take it the alternator belt needs to be tightened, or the alternator needs to be replaced.

tell me if im wrong.......

and what up with my drippage? i will be able to find out if it stopped drippen when i am able to fire her back up

also, i had to move the cruise control assembly ( the black box on the pass side firewall) for access to the alt tensioner, and lock bolts. do u think that would cause this?

yo vegas, My guess would be that it is somethign w/ the cruise. I had to take off the same thing and had the prob as you. disconnect the battery and let the ECU reset. Also make sure the cruise is turned off before you try to start her up. That should solve your prob, if not i'll think of something else emoji

Hmm I haven't the slightest clue dude, min makes a clicking noise once in a while, it's some valve I think though. Try the cruise control thing on the previous post.

well, i reset the ecu again, and pushed the cruise control button to the off position while the keys were in the acc notch. she started up like a champ, and the radiator hose leak stopped.

thank you to all the fellas and ladies that helped me out through my ordeal, and dont think i wont call on you again.

i took her out for a spin, and it seems that it pulls harder in third. i didnt feel that much more, but i figure the ecu has to relearn my mods, then it will show more.

and finally, thanks to JoeJ who came up with the swift answer!!

Your guy's cruise control can make it do that? weird.. I would have never guessed.. if it was clicking instead of turning over when you were trying to crank the starter, i would have said either the battery is bad (but you said it wasn't) or the starter has a poor connection so it's not getting enough juice.. or the starter is bad.. anyway though.. that's cool that it wasn't any of those.
