Well the other day i poped my hood and i found a loose wire. If you look at pic 5 you can see a plug right thier. My best guess it goes thier but i cant see any where else where it would go. So if you guys have anycluse help me out. IF you know what the wire does then that woudl be a great help.

Yes i am. I know my pics where pretty crappy(fucking Neveda SUN) what the hell does that wire do. Is it just a ground. Do i really need it. Help a white boy out

Im thinkin your gonna need that ground man.. cause if its not groundin though that wire just think of all the other little grounds you have on your engine.. they can only take so much

That is not a ground it is a capacitor i think. Used for noise suppression, get a new one, this is not a ground.

It's just like said above... it's a noise suppresion capacitor...
It basically stops noise and whine from your engine elctronics, i.e. plugs, plug wires and alternator, from getting into the wiring or from being picked up as a whine by your stereo...

My car is running without it if it makes you feel any better...
I lost mine, too lazy to get a new one.

The car WILL run fine without it... and I have NO noise problems. emoji
