#80289, "my car and Frances"

Hey fellas,

I just sat through several days of no power and blah, blah, from Hurricane Frances. My house and my car made it through the storm with damage only from flooding (I live very close to the beach). The only thing is that my car took a lot of water in. It started up fine and shot a bunch of water out of the exhaust, but it is kicking out white smoke now. Is that just water that is burning off from inside the exhaust. (The exhaust was filled, the whole area had about 2 feet of standing water at one point).

Let me know what you think.

Thanks.

Tony

It's probably jsut water in the exhaust. More than likely you didnt get any water in the motor because the intake sits a bit higher than 2 feet.

As long as she runs fine. Maybe do a comp test if you like.

If it doesn't go I'd worry.
