#80137, "Air blowing out of the oil cap hole?"


          

My brother asked me if that was normal on his spyder, but I told him I didn't know. I went and looked, and when the car is running with the oil cap off, it's like air is rushing out of the hole. I don't know why he had it off with the car running, but he did and wanted to know if that was bad.

sounds like blowby to me.... i just ran out and took my oil cap off with the car running... nothing came out of mine.

That is kinda what I thought, and I told him that, but he don't think that it is.

I think that he is getting ready to park it anyway to drive the firebird b/c he wants to do the 4g63 turbo and head swap.

similar question is it normal for wisps of air to be comming out of hte dipstick when the car is on
