Me and my buddy installed a new valve cover yesterday and we forgot to put one of the seals on, so some oil got n the spark plug things, but we cleaned it out pretty good, replaced the seal and now there is no oil leaking. However smoke pours out of my exhaust, not when my car is stopped, but when I start to drive in first gear. Any help would be great.

Hard to say. Are you sure everything is sealed up? It sounds like leaky valve stem seals, but seeing as you just changed something I would go over it again and make sure you did that right.

We think that there's a possibility that we didn't clean up some oil around the spark plugs and that left over oil is being burned and that's what causing the smoke, I just bought some new plugs so we're going to clean it up a bit, install the new plugs, and pray.

How much oil got in there? Regardless, I'm pretty sure you would burn it all out fairly quickly. When my valve seals went to hell on me, I would smoke after idling for a couple minutes, but not under load. Had something to do with vacuum I believe.
I'm thinking you still have some oil getting past the plugs. Are you sure they're all installed tight? I know it sounds simple, but these are the little things that can make or break you. If you still don't have it figured out by Saturday, we'll take a look see at John's sometime during the BBQ.

Yeah that's what we're thinking too, hopefully we'll get this figured out by today because I've already blinded an accord that hit a curb when all the smoke came out of my exhaust and engulfed his car.

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related. Step 1: Put down everything in your hands. Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it. Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you. If not. Go here: here
If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.
