I've been working at Mitsubishi for a while now and a tech I work with is rebuilding the motor on his 98 GS. He asked me to look for some pistons and was figured I'd get some good suggestions here. If anyone knows of any good all motor/ hight compression pistons, stock bore, let me know. Thanks.

Too Cool To Spool.

this is in the wrong section, sorry. Try the general or performance, not many check here.

Im guessing you want higher comp? Then CP and JE are good bets.

As are ROSS pistons. If your on a budget then hey even wiseco, not MY first choice though.

You can order them from

howell automotive, modern performance, vt engines / FTY ( faster than you). All of them have banners up at the top of the page. If they arent cylcing, then refresh the page.

I've got the Wiseco 10.5:1 and they run just fine too. Some would call them "marshmallows," but it's okay. All motor isn't going to make enough power to break them. emoji

I would run 10.5 on an all-motor street car, 12.5 on a race car. You can run the 12.5's with a Crane ignition and a timing retard on the street and put the timing back when you goto the track and put good gas in. We have made 200 whp with that all motor set up.
