Ok guys, here's the situation. The other day my car starts a serious belt squeel...so I flip off the AC and it stops, flip it back on and it starts again so it OBVIOUSLY has something to do with the AC. Now when this occurs, the AC light will sometimes flash (but the belt is still on)....and also the power steering gets hard, then when I shut it off PS works fine??? Any Ideas?????

When was the last time that you changed the belts? Is the tension right? My light will blink if I get too much water around the pulley area. And yes the steering will also get a little hard.

So now at 44 what the hell do I do?
