#7982, "HP capacity of gs-t muffler and stock cat with n2o(not a nitrous Q!)"
Okay, ive heard that the stock gst muffler can handle about 210hp and the stock cat 210-220hp. If i run a 75 shot n2o with my mods below which are probably giving me about 160-170ish hp(am i being optamistic with those estimates?)then if so, thats about 235hp conservitavely when on a nitrous run. will i F.U.B.A.R something if my exhaust system can only do 210ish and im pushin 235+hp? thanks

Since we have the exact same piping as a stock gs-t, I guess that's where people get the 210 hp rating from. If you are pushing 235, I wouldn't worry about getting new exhaust piping. A straight through muffler might help a bit, but it will be a lot louder.
