Anybody ever crack a thermostat housing? Somehow right next to the top right bolt hole theres a hairline crack. Just enough to leaky leaky. DOnt know how it happened. Just wanted to start my motor up for the first time in two months a nd this has to happen.
Anyways, is there some way to repair it or just call a bone yard or Nappa?

if your talking about the part that bolts onto the block then yes..i did it. I had to big of a gasket and that form a gasket shit on it and when i torqued it down it cracked....so i had a guy whos a very good aluminum welder repair it for me by welding the crack then sanding the flange flat. I could have gotten the part from Satan for like 75 bucks becuase junk yards didnt have the part....or are you talking about the part of it that connects to the rad. hose
Klein567 - Ya i heard about that ticket you and Sean got. Clint485 - Stupid chick cop...worst part was she looked like a dude. Klein567- Thats becuase all hot cops are strippers

i would say buy that off of bearkat, cause that saves you a lot of crap. it's not easy to get off, you need to take off your power stearing and disconnect hoses and plugs. it's not difficult, but if he's got a working one for $35 then i'd take it if i were you, IMO.

Well I wish I wouldve seen these postings this morning. Its cool though I found a guy that is good at welding and he hooked me up for 20 bucks. Only thing is, the dumbshit left the sensors on and blew up the bigger one when it got to hot, duh. So ended up buying me a brand new one.
