i lied about the topic so someone will freakin help me. should i get a new hi-flow cat? all i got is intake, header, exhaust, and short shifter? will it give me any power? i read that a good one will give me 8-20 hp

first off noob just quit bein gay....second the hi-flow may make u sound like a civic thats ur call....I promise u won't get no where near 20HP or even 10HP......AFX UDP if u don't have it.....

you should be able to find the pros/cons of this very easily.

there is no way in hell you will get 8-20hp from it. whoever told you that was a moron. oh, and talk to xtremers on this board about getting a custom made 2.5" test pipe. he makes em for a good price.

ok first of all i only lied cause ive posted this same fuckin question 3x and got no answers and on this one within a half hour i got 3. so it works lying. id prefer to not but this time i had too. anyway, i want to get one cause there cheap and its a lil extra power for the price. and im lookin at an obx cause i got that obx header and it was good so y not right. everyones helped me except on this 1 particular question. oh yeah and nobody really told me if i should get one and what brand and how much power i might get out of it.

you just need to be very aware that you will be super rice with the test pipe on. it gets really loud and raspy. i took mine off cause it was killing me.

So It's gonna sound hella gay and not really any power? hmmmm i dont think ill get one then. it purrs right now and i dont want to have a gay lil civic sound

1. the reason you didnt get any replies is because this type of thing has been answered 1000000000000x there is a search here for a reason and it works damn good

2. like everyone said...there is no need to lie. you need to search topics before you even ask anything. 98% of the time when i have a question...i dont even bother asking anymore...i go straight to the search. just about everything has been asked and answered quite thoroughly here.

3. test pipes are basically a waste of time if your near stock. you need lower EVG (exhaust gas velocity) to maintain what little low end torque you have. you add a test pipe and youll absolutely kill yourself in the low end. you wont gain much of anything near stock. you need to be pushing a lot of exhaust to gain from this mod....liek a turbocharger.

4. as stated above...it will sound like ass most of the time. super ricey
