Went to the track a few weeks ago, ran a 16.6 bone stock, with my atx>mtx conversion and the 6.5k redline. so i came home pissed, and bought some crane #12s. i was just reading a thread in the advanced tuning section and i must have misunderstood the shit out of it. it was saying that with the 12's over stock i'd be seeing like 30-40 hp????? i know that can't be right, can anyone speculate on what kind of gain i'll be seeing realistically? keep in mind my car is BONE stock pretty much. just have shit-can riceboy muffler lol. any input would be nice.

If you're going to get cams, satisify yourself the first time and get the Crane 0016's or the Crower stage 2's. They are both a very good camshaft for the "street" and can be used with a turbo application.

well i hope you're right, i just emailed howell and asked to switch to #16's. either way before they're installed im sure i'll be doing the timing belt, a udp, adjustable cam gears, valve springs, maybe some stainless valves, etc. etc. i dont really wanna rip the whole motor apart every time i get a little money. might as well do it right the first time.
