Well, I got my new engine in, from a fellow member on the board, and now the powersteering pump pulley is off aligned from the crank pulley and a/c pulley. I got the bracket for it on fine with the two bolts that hold it on. One from the block, and one from the side of the motor mount. All the pulleys are on tight. So how is it off alignment? Its bugging the heck out of me. If I can't get it fixed soon, I'm just gonna buy a belt to use skipping the powersteering. Not to mention a line is cracked right by the fitting on the rack, and I have to get that fixed to stop the leak. So thats one of the reasons why I want to remove the whole power steering stuff. What do yall think I should do? Also, when we were taking out the engine, the a/c's freon got "accidently" let out. Before I put more freon in with those little kits, don't I have to use a vaccum of some sort to suck out air and debris from the lines? Sorry for all the questions, but any input will be greatly appreciated.

your underdrive pulley is probably not all the way on.

i dont have power steering or ac. it takes a little while to get used to, and is a pain in slow moving areas or parking, but i dont mind it :o

Soulcontroller, what did you remove on your power steering system? Did you just take the belt off, or did you remove the lines, pump, resovoir, etc? Also, how did you plug off the rack, "if" you removed the lines? I wish there was a write up for removing the stuff. I want to remove the p/s but keep the a/c. So I have a little bit of comfort and performance gain.

BTW, its my P/S Pulley that is off alignment.
