will a higher temp. fuel have any effect on A/F over a cooler temp. fuel?

The reason many NHRA racers run cooling cans on their fuel is or atomization and its one less factor when dealing with detonation. Cooler fuel is not as effective as cooler air but when your engine water jackets are filled solid the engine tends to heat up pretty quickly.

okay, cause it seemed to me to be the only relative factor change (increased temps) after doing a large hand full of runs. wideband A/F's were in the 11.3-11.8 range in the beginning, but buy the end of the runs i was in the high 9's low 10's for A/F... any other reasons why my A/F might be changing like that?

I would be going after heat soak in the intake manifold and things of that nature. How much were you leftting the engine cool off after your runs? That might have somthing to do with it. Are you ice packing the top of the intake when you run? That is a trick you could try see if it helps a little. We always did that with my friends LT1 T/A.
