how are you all doing. i tired to install my aftermarket gauge for my oil pressure. but thier isnt enough room back thier for the pressuer gaguge sender unit. Is thier anywhere else i can put this oil pressure sensor. hoper thier is one in the front of the engine. Please any help would be greatful

take out the oil pressure sending unit in the back of the engine. and trust me, there is alot of room back there.

will the ecu trip a code if it doesnt see a signal from the factory sensor, also whats the factory pressure for our car, thanks for any help

no ecu dosent care if the sender isnt there. and the pressure fully warmed up should be about 25-20psi

Here are some tips as I recently istalled mine. Used the link on the "mods" page on this site. Johns web page is detailed on the writeup. Be sure to buy the exact NPT fittings he mentions. With the proper arrangement, you can keep both the new sender and stock sender plugged in with plenty of room. Be sure to use teflon tape on all connections. ;Lates.

Just plug in a barb to that hole with about 3 feet of fuel line to the top of the engine bay. From there, you can add tees to your heart's desire with plenty of room to spare and easy access. And on top of that, you're not stuck in a bad situation if your tee isn't pointed or oriented the right way after you've adequately torqued it in (which is more likely than not).
