Ok my car is making some wierd funky noise. It seems to relate at the exact time the motor hits temp so Im think its my waterpump. Its hard to describe the noise but I could compare it if someone gives example. Its somewhere between a whistle and a turbo spool. Somethink like a vacuum whistling. I cant all vacuum lines and there fine. You can only hear it when its idleing or when driving close to something where the sound bounces off. The motor has bout 62k on it and its sonnys old red valve cover motor. I know its in need of a 62k maintance but im pushing pennies right now cause Its my 3rd motor that im paying off. I just hate to be driving with high blood pressure hoping my motor dont explode. Just got used to the late ones and got very paranoid. The motor doesnt reach high temps either and the sound goes away after bout 5 min. I hate to have my WP seize on me while im still paying the motor off. Please help

your water pump is probably fine. Just save p like 3-4 hundred and drop it off at advanced automotive and have everything changed. You will be fine for a couple hundred miles.. Also where is my 50 bucks???

take the power steering belt off and see if it makes noise still. My idler pulley took a dump and that is how it started.

That "Gargling" is boiling water, that is your immediate problem, regardless of what your gauges says the coolant is boiling which means a real watery mix or air pocket in head. Possibly head gasket, or bad thermostat, or water pump impeller is not turnig with the shaft

Well the car was running on pure water when there was a gargle but heres an update:

Went home from my girls house which is about 13 miles. First 10 miles the temp was normal. The progressively is started to rise so I was about to pull over. The car idled and I was comming to a stop but suddentl it hits normal again. I keep goin and the guage keeps jumping from half to 3/4. Sometimes stayed at either a a few seconds. No real pattern. Its like that for about 2 miles and by now Im 2 blocks from my house. Temp is normal but I pull into a stop. Off the stop I hear a rattling as if the car was about to stall because I dropped the clutch to much. Pull by my house and it idles fine but I was confused about the sound because I didnt think I dumped the clutch far enough to almost make it stall so I go around the block. Well yea something rattles at 2 -3 RPM. Pull up by my house leave the car on and pop the hood. OH SHIT Timing belt cover is smoking ! Turn the motor off and left it that way.
Im convinced its the waterpump just like a said 2 weeks ago. Any suggestions ? Go work in 15 min so I need a plan

Well i would say the gauge may be moving around becasue you have air in the system or you are real low on coolant. Kinda like hot coolant splshing up to the sensor concept. Either way sounds like the water pump is going to be the culprit. That smoke is probably steam from the coolant. Time to tear it down and check it out. If you drive it and Catastrophic pump failure occures you will need a head.

I told you when you where leaving that you NEEDED to change that water out. Did you listen to me NO you drove it 300+ miles HOME then drove it for an additional 3 days after...

You had 100% water, there was NO mix at all. I warned you over and over...but you insisted it would be fine..Guess you were wrong.

I don't understand why people that don't no a super lot about cars, do n't listen to the ones that do. I mean I may not be the brightest bulb in teh tree about alot of things, but I do know the 420a emoji

dude whats wrong with you ? We used coolant that we found in the garage and trunk anyway. You think that cause the problem ? your crazy. I knew my water pump was gonna go anyway no matter what we put in it. I waited 3 days cause I was flat ass broke cause I felt guilty and gave you all the money I had up to the dollar. Dude if you want something or someone to blame it on dont blame it on this cause we poured in half a gallon of coolant from my trunk. Wow it wasnt a 50/50 mix so it was freakin 30/70 but it still wouldnt cause it to go otherwise there would be no 60k maintainance

Theoretically the car would run on any fluid. The fluid simply does the job of heat transfer. That being that the fluid wont effect any hoses or the radiator. Pushin, I think its ass how u wanna blame it on my mistake that I didnt put coolant in and shit. I did my best with that car. Sure I started the car in reverse cause it was on a fuckin hill and you bounced. Yea ok im not the brightest bulb cause I couldnt push a car up a 30 degree hill to turn it around. O wow I had no choice and that shit dont mean I dont know a fair game bout my motor.
