the only thing you should be worried about is what TYPE of header to get.. 4-1, or 4-2-1.. i think 4-1 is good for the the high end, and 4-2-1 is good for the low end.. It doesn't really matter what type of header to get b/c we're not making huge amounts of HP. You wont gain too much from aftermarket headers, but i would stay away from Pacesetter, i've heard nothing but bad things about that header. I went with the SSautochrome header. i got it for about 140 shipped, and it came with gaskets, and a downpipe. good luck

Save your money and buy a turbo kit.
The header wont do anything.

A header is still a worthwhile mod to invest in regardless of turbo plans. (Obviously, if you're looking to boost within 6 months to a year, then forget about it.) The important thing to consider, especially if you're on a budget, is to not waste money on a brand name. You spend $500 on a Greddy or DC and the instant your engine turns over the first time after you install it, you won't get more than $150 for it unless you find a sucker imo. When it comes to header selection, just a couple points to keep in mind:

1. You're not going to get really any power out of it.
2. If you buy an overpriced, name brand header, you're throwing money away, as resale isn't shit on them.
3. For the cost of a name brand header, you could get a used one, have it ceramic coated, and complete the rest of the exhaust with DIY parts.
(OR, think of a $500 header and $500 cat back as being almost half the cost of a turbo system.)

NOTE:
Let's not argue the whole quality issue here either. The Pacesetter I got for $60, which had been used for more than a year when I got it, installed perfectly and has performed flawlessly. I don't recommend anyone buy a name brand header, and definitely not a new one. FOr the power they "make," the money could be better spent elsewhere imo.
