both battery and alternator are about 2 years old. Today after a night of driving in 85 degrees weather and racing a GST and TT RX7 I smelled something burning. I thought it was the ground to my alternator again. I came home jacked the car to check the alternator and everything looked ok. Put key to acc and volmeter checks out at 12v. Turn on car and volt checks out at 11.7. My usual is 13.2 while driving. Not sure if it's battery or alternator. What do you guys think. BTW I beat the GST, it was my buddy with a Big16g at 10ibs of boost. RX7 was impressed with my 3rd gear pull, but I'm sure I would've lost anyways.
