There is only 3 ways to make power for engines:
1. Increasing cylinder pressure = putting more air by any means (turbo, nos, N/A mods, machining for better airflow), or raising compression.
2. Reducing the amount of rotational mass
3. Reducing the amount of friction!!
Guess what, our engines, err in fact every engine, is actually making more power, about 30-50 more then they are actually advertised!! It takes power to drive the cams, pistons, cam springs, blah blah blah becuase they cause friction. If everything in our engines caused no friction whatsoever, heck we'd all be hitting mid 14's by now, thats just aint happening in this dimension!. You can reduce friction to make power however, less weight against the springs means less spring pressure working against the engine which means less friction meaning more power! Titanium valves, valve retainers are golden! go for it! I dont see how it can hurt performance or reduce engine longevity? Does anyone see it? anyone??
