#77660, "Found cause of oil leak"

For a while my car was leaking a little bit of oil and I found that it was leaking from my rear main so on my day off I changed it. A few days ago I was driving and I noticed a huge blue cloud behind me so I went home and looked at it this morning...I look under it and see oil everywhere so i start the car and watch and see oil coming out of the harness on the oil sender so i unplug it and get soaked in oil.it turns out that my oil pressure sending unit was all fucked up and had a tare it in....and i broke it in half when removing it you can see the tare going up and down. Im glad it was a quick fix becuase i was thinking that my rear main got fucked up again of something

You ripped the tranny out, removed and replaced the rear main, then reinstalled everything on your day off by yourself? Damn bro.

ya ive done everything to my car so ive gotten pretty good at some things...I did the auto-> 5 speed swap and the tranny i put in was bad so i pulled it out and replaced the output shaft roller bearing and that turned out not to be the problem so i pulled it again and through in my spare tranny. I think i can usually have the tranny out of the car in 50 minutes with just stockets, 2 floor jacks, and jack stands

BTW did you replace your sender with a unit from mitsu?? cause if you just ask for a neon sender it will just be like 6 bucks at autozone and will work emoji

At satan(*mitsu) that same part is 100 bucks!!!

The opsu on our cars though is a peice of crap...get a real oil pressure gauge and tap in there i mean it only wrkos to tell you that you are fucked

vote for your choice of body style for Bluie!! http://www.cardomain.com/id/bluemooneclipse
