HEy guys as some of you may or may not know Mike is stuck here. We were swapping motors out today cause he had three cylinders running and drove it here 300miles to get my motor.

Well here's the shit, we get the old motor out and get teh new one in all dandy. Issues came when I tried to start it, the damn thing is geting no spark.

Background, the motor was sonydbk's motor out of his 96, we put it into a 98 GS. I swapped the sensors that needed swappen to make it fit in to the wiring harness such as cam angle sensor and crank sensor all others fit nicley. I double checked to make sure that all wires are plugged in there respective places, and they were where they should be. Kinda easy since you can't really mix them up.

Well I have check the things Dino and others have told me. Like cam sensor, Crank sensor and all the plugs.

Dino even said to check the voltage at the coil plug, this is what I'm getting. 4.5v 0v 9.5v while cranking it doesn't change the voltage numbers are the repective pin outs.

Well anymore ideas would be great guys.

We should have had him on the road at 5pm, this was supposed to be only an 8hr job and we were doing great till this...

Thanks Guys/Girls

~Lee

no spark "could" be cam angle, crank angle, fuel pump relay, asd relay. The relays could be the culprit.

Yea it was a stupid mistake but the harness is exactly the same thing, color too and lenght os very close. SO it was my stupid mistake. Only blew a speed sensor so ill be fine. I wouldve been there for days trying to figure it out but the only think that really distingushes them is the fact that the speed senosr had a zip tie right by the harness HAHA
