I have an early 95 Talon ESi, and when I was installing a safc I wasn't getting a response when I connected a dmm to the brown wire w/ red stripe at the ecu. So, I went directly to the tps sensor, and was able to discover that at my ecu the tps signal is a red wire w/ brown dash on it. Connected my safc to it, and it walah, it worked.
So the theory of all years use the same color sensor wires isn't exactly true, and probably the only differing cars are early 95's.

Weird...mine is definitely brown wire with red stripe. I guess I'll have to start adding "exceptions" to the list. Let me know if you see anything else.

You guys are the exception, not the rule. Every 95 I've ever seen has had a brown / red stripe TPS wire. Not doubting you, just saying.
