i have just purchased a 95 gs and am in the process of finishing the turbo kit. although i have looked just about everywhere, i have not been able to find upgraded injectors for this particular model. what i need to know is, is it possible to put on mustang injectors (wanting 40 pound ones) and if so from which year and which model. thanks for all the help in advance need help quick. ordering the parts this week.

I know it's common to use the 30lb injectors from the mustangs, ... I don't know about the 40lb ones. Accels like he ^^^ said.

40lb Mustang injectors will be fine if they are saturated style (usually are). That equates to a 420 cc/min flow. I'm using some 24lb Accel injectors for the mustang. They fit and operate fine.

30lb Mustang and 42lb Lighting are the most common. Red top and Green top respectively.

hey, what about 5.0 yellow top injectors? I was just at a swap meet and i found a 5.0 fuel rail with all the injectors on it, it was only $10 so i baught it. Can one of you guys tell me the flow on them. Also, what is the stock eclipse injector flow rate?

I'm not sure about the yellow tip ones but I would say if the other two Ford injectors fit, then these should too, but wait till someone confims.

The stock flow is 235cc I believe.

I believe that stock 5.0 injectors are 19lbs and are a dim orange type color. 24lbs are blue, 30lbs are red, 42lbs are green. AFAIK, all Accel injectors are yellow top, regardless of flow rate. See the picture below:



I believe Accel engraves the flow rate on the plastic body somewhere.
