Most of those that you see are actually a stainless mesh over a stock replacement hose. it's mostly for looks. As for a real stainless replacement hose.. i don't think they even exist. I may be wrong.

You can't bore your motor to 2.2L .. there isn't enough metal in the cylinder walls. You'd hit the waterjacket before you ever got there. It is possible to stroke it to 2.2L, however, if you want to pay the money to do it.

shit i forget what the difference is again... but anyway i have allready borred/stroked it out and have been running the motor for about 7000 miles and the only two problems i have had is a dead battery and one of my spark plugs fouled out or whatever. so far so good oh yeah i have the howell automotive under drive pulley as well. i have no proof of the engine work except for the stock stuff my mechanic gave me when he was done. when i got it done 5 months ago i said to him bore/stroke it out as much as you can safely!
thanks for the info about the radiator hose though.

My mom always told me to never leave the house without my waterjacket.

Your right, they dont make one for our cars.. for the 4g63, but not the 420a... Umm, a stock hose should be fine. And Dino is right, we cant get our engines bored out that much. You could get a stroker setup custom made probably though.

Yeah when you bore the motor you gain a few cubis inches nothign major. a stroker kit would have to be made, and we don't have anybody working on that now.

Yeah erm Pacesetter sells something called a Radhose and it's basically a stainless steel hose, I think, it's 50 bucks also. Looks cool also, nice an shiny and you can get em in different colors. I forgot where to get it though, I remember I saw an auction of it and it had a website. It was impact something something.com hehe....

Don't forget to fill your radiator with distilled water as well hehe, wouldn't want it to start rusting and stuff. :p
