whenever i start my car, sometimes when i turn, and when i turn the AC on, my car squeaks..and the belts are making the noise..so i was playin around with the pulleys and noticed that the 1 pulley moved from side to side easily if ya pushed on it a lil bit..soo now i need a new pulley, and if i cant find just the pulley im gonna have to buy a tensioner i guess?...i dunno this is what all my g/f's dad told me lol....anybody know where i can find what im lookin for b/c i dont feel like callin upon Satan to help me out here..thanks

which pulley? the a/c one? or the tensioner on the p/s belt.

ummm..not really sure lol...its the 1 when your lookin down at the pulleys from above them, its the 1 closest to you down in about maybe a foot from the top 1

Ok the one you are looking at is the tensioner pulley. Its right below the powersteering pulley. I would try tightening it first before you go buy a new one. Because if you can wiggle it then its probly just loose.

If you end up needing a new one, Goodyear Gatorback has one for 2GNTs for about 35 bucks or so.

alright well thanks to eclipse 99 rs, i got everything all good lol for now at least..seems to be workin..tahnks alot man


Mods: E-bay Intake, Vibrant Axle-Back Exhaust(haha), Panasonic Headunit, lots more to come ...

thats one WORN fuckin tensioner pully, lol. watch out for it just-in-case.

thanks for the pic too, it will make explaining how to tighten belts a LOT easier.
