Im interested in seeing how you guys think I should break in my car. Stock internals with stock bore. Main bearing is bored. New gaskets seals and rings. Snapped a rod about a month ago so I did a quick rebuild. Also would like to know what guages I should get to monitor my motor so this doesnt happen again. So far theres 200 miles on the motor and I plan to drain the oil at 1000. Also the motor hasnt seen RPMs past 4k yet.

A stock car comes with the guages it needs from the factory. What a stock car does not come with is a cognizant and competent owner. Make sure you nail that one down.
