i recently re-gapped my spark plugs, and i found cylinders 1 and 4 , the actual sparkplug tip, that goes into the top of the cylinder, was soaked in oil,. now about a month ago, ijust replaced all the o rings, and the rest of the valvecover gasket,,, so im not sure whats up,, ive never had any proboems before,,,also, it makes a very hessitant putter when i take off.. sounds like its backfiring..it will usually only do this when i am in the lower rpm range...any help on what this might be, or how to fix it would be great!!

Pull your VC gasket and the plug well gaskets again. Wipe them all down really good and then put a bead of RTV in the little track the gaskets sit in on the VC. Insert the gaskets in the VC. Then put a small bead on the head, particularly where the surfaces rises sharply near the cam ends. Reinstall and retorque. Wait at least 8 hours before you start the car. Consider the problem fixed imo.
