Hey. I'm deciding on what exhaust system to get for my 95 rs. If anyone can help me decide on a good exhaust system that adds power and is a nice deep sound tell me. also I'm lookin at buyin the venom 400 performance chip. Is this a good thing to buy or have you'll heard bad things about it ? Last thing I'm plannin on buyin is headers so what is the best to go along with that exhaust system? anyone that helps thanks

if you dont want to spend $500+ on an exauste system, you can do what i did and get a custom job done at a muffler shop. i had them do 2.5 inch piping and a magnaflow muffler for $325 installed.

Or have a muffler shop do the custom install. Pick up a glass pack for like $30 at a parts store and then you can get a cheap muffler. SAve a little bit more and its all new. emoji

I bought a Megan Racing exhaust off of ebay for $320 shipped. I like it alot. I could definately feel a power increase. My friends say it sounds good. Its 2.5" mandrel bent stainless steel. The only thing i dont like about it is the huge 4.5" tip on the muffler.

yeah, i got kinda the same deal as ^^^ but i got a tsudo Greddy style exhaust off ebay for like $300 and it sounds really deep, and smooth. it is 2.5 inch mandrel bent polished stainless steel. it comes with a choice of a 4.5 inch tip or 3.5 inch, i really recommend it, and im about to go dyno it and compare with my old dyno.

hmm? i seem to think diffently. teh gay ones dont, but without a larger exhaust you dont get full advantage of things like head p&p not even close, also udp gives you quite an advantage, o and intake... imagine having your engine fully built but without intake and exhaust, bolt ons are a neccesity, you just need to choose which ones will help you when you move onto the more hardcore mods.

ya search lol, you dont lose anything except a few pounds off your crank. it makes your alternator and ac take stress off your engine making them a little weaker, but nothing noticeable unless you have an uber system where you may just need an alternator overdrive pulley.
