Well boys, it is time. My power band is weak, I hear gurgling in the heater core, and my compression is 100psi (i shit you not) in each cylinder. My questions are;
- The "MLS" headgasket replacement I see mentioned when I search, where is the best place to buy this?
-Are there any bottom end items I can replace/upgrade while doing this job with the engine still in the vehicle??? Pistons, Rings?? I will not be removing the engine.
-Is there anything else you can think of I should take care of when I am down there?? Top end/head will come later.
-I hear shops quote this as a 7 hour project. Does that sound right?? Thanks,

Bob Kise. Do a search for his name and you'll see lots of info. I think thedawg has his info in his profile too.

Nothing along the lines of what you're thinking. The pumps maybe. Focus on maintanence...t-belt, tensioner, etc

For someone experienced maybe. Take your time as resetting your timing is crucial to any engine.
