yes this just starting happening. The car knocks very little at idle upto 1200 rpm then stops knocking. Everything works fine and there is no blue smoke. So What do u think. What is causing it. Will it get worse.

he might mean that marvell mystery oil stuff, I thought that decarbonized the shit out of your engine, though. dump it in your throttle body, smoke like hell, choke up and stall... then (heh, when it can...) refire, more gobs of smoke, and a cleaner combustion chamber and valves.
you sure your lifters aren't just getting tired? mine've been louder ever since I put in the #12s and UDP. I also sometimes get what sounds like a quiet diesel idle? nothing out of the ordinary for me.

yes I will sometimes get a diesel sound when I start it up. So basically the lifters are just felling thier age. Well that will change when i redo the head.

did you change oil weights? sometimes this can be the culprit. i know early 3000GTs will get shitty lifter tick if they arent careful what oil they use. if you changed, go back! goodluck man.

My car did that about 400 miles before spinning a bearing.

But, I wasn't taking very good of my car at the time so this isn't probably something you are needing to worry about.

Just a heads up.
