I have been reading forum after forum and read all these little tricks and tips people have. Somebody covered up the MAF or something along those lines? I have a 420A Non Turbo motor which I have in pieces right now, I'm planning on doing some heavy work to it. Crane Stage 2 Cams AEM Cam Gears 10.3MM Spark Plug Wires Intake Manifold Throttle Body Bored or Jeep Conversion Intake Fuel Rail Injectors (I need to know what would be a good size.)
I always read about people throwing 1G parts on or something like that, what are some secrets of the DSM world?

Thats why I'm asking for help, I just read all these things people have done on car domain.com and I wanna get the most out of my motor. I understand the 420A pretty well, I just need some quick tips.

not sure what you do or dont have, but for N/T power (snicker) you will need CAI, 2.5" catback, UDP for sure!, cam gears can squeeze you a couple of ponies, P and P the intake mani and gasket match it to the head, it goes on and on
check the main page sections for the power stages upgrade path. it will really help you out.

If you want to read about your car then this is the proper forum to read. All the info you posted is more in relation to the turbo cars. Fuel rail and injectors are usless unless you go turbo, no 1g parts will fit this car at all. The cams and gears are ok and of course the TB and the intake... Good luck to you my friend.... and welcome to the board.
I edited to the wiki!

If you have the engine in pieces, you might consider the basic tune up parts too: t-belt, acc belts, tensioner, pulley, water and oil pumps, a UDP, new gaskets (especially the MLS HG). If you have it all out and apart, now is the time to replace your pistons and rods. Throw in some new bearings too. It's easier to rebuild the head later than the bottom end imo. The important thing is to have fun and keep your goals realistic. You aren't going to be running 12s with this car without a lot of time and money. You'll have fun though.
