#7592, "Question about Tsi muffler....."

My friend has his stock muffler off his 95 turbo talon. He has AWD, now my question is will the muffler go on the non- turbo's? I know the GS-T's fit, but I wasn't sure about the Tsi AWD. Thanks guys, I know I should know this shit, but gotta check with the experts....

I think it should fit fine, as long as you are only taking the muffler and welding that on. The rest of the piping would be different and of no use.

Yep it fits, you just need to weld in place, they cut just after the muffler and weld there, if you don't want to hassle with welding, you can buy the GS-T muffler it a bolt on mod...

This muffler will not bolt up to your stock exhaust. The AWD models follow a different pathway then the RS,GS, & GS-T. All these are same exhaust, the GS-T just has an extra resnator. But the GS-T is the only one that bolts right up. I got it and like it. But you could have a shop cut and weld it on for you for a price.

You paid 40 bucks to have them bolt it on for you. You could have done that yourself. How much did you pay for the muffler?

The TSI will bolt up without modification, the TSI AWD will not. It is the same with GST vs. GSX.
