Never thought that I would have to register on this site but now I do. Always thought reading was enough but new I have to vent my depressing story. As for the noise it made ... it was interesting cause the car stalled and totally lost power ... probably was choking. After that it ran like a 68 chevy before stalling again. After that it was as peacful as standing right next to a helicopter.

Already after realizing how extremely depressing this is and giving up I went through my bidget and got $590 out of it plus whatevers in my pocket. So I need some opinions on what to do cause infortunately cars dont heal themselves yet so here we go

Roll down cliff and lit on fire and film it hopping to get money for new car
Get a new block with stock internals
Save money and get a new block filled with performance internals
Get a complete motor and swap it
Pop the sucker open and hope the head is in good condition and just buy new rod and piston

Judging by that carnage you'll also need a crank. With that stuff floating around in your oil pan i doubt a turn and polish will make it usable. Who knows, you may get lucky but i'd start hunting junk yards.

400whp or bust.

Well I deff need a crank which is not what im worried about. I just hope the top end is fine then I cud rebuild the bottom end and it will be fine. I drained my coolant and no oil so that a good sign but if you look at how the rod is ripped ... it makes u wonder wat it hit to break so thats a depressing thought. I really wanna keep my engine and rebuild that bottom instead of doing a swap. Thanks for all you guys who are giving out a hand ... especially extreme97nt.

Yeah, He needs a new crank. That rod was laying in the bottom of the oil pan. The crank is pretty messed up. The other half of the piston is still in the cyl I am just wondering if it shot up and hit the head. Looks like the only way to tell is to rip her down. The block it deffinatly stronger than a rod but I guess it all depends on what it hit to break. Time will tell.
