#7546, "Does having no downstream o2 hurt? Affect performance?"

Hey all, I previously asked and people said it doesn't matter that I haven't had a downstream o2 sensor for the past year. The wires got cut. However, Basikstylz just told me that without a downstream o2, his car ran really rich (injectors were at 100% all the time). BUT he has a 4g63 turbo. So does anyone know for sure if having no downstream o2 is or is not affecting the performance of my engine? Thanks.

PS. The manager at kragen auto also told me that no downstream o2 would really confuse the computer and mess up my emissions etc. I'm starting to wonder, since everytime I reset my ECU, the car runs good for a day or two, and then eventually the idle gets worse and worse. Could it be the downstream o2 after all?
