I read the direction on http://www.vfaq.com/mods/O2bypass.html but my o2 sensor wires are a lil different and was wondering if anyone can help me with it. They go white white grey black instead of black black white blue..

So hook the rear o2 back up.......even with the resistor mod your still going to get a CEL once and a while from it.

On a 97 plus you still need to have the O2 hooked up. the resistor just takes the o2 resistor and make it look leaner than it is. The ECU looks at the rear 0s voltages to fluctuate not stay constant as a resistor alone would. I know this because the 02 i had in my 97 would not fluctuate fast enough and threw codes consistantly. For that setup there are o2 simulators. Now on a 96/95 i am not sure if the ECU searches for the same but i bet it does. There is even a code for that condition.

i couldnt hook the sensor back up because it was stuck in the exhaust..i cant get it out..its like everything was welded on the exhaust. I already cut the harness anyway.. So pretty much what you guys are saying is that even with the resistor, im gonna trip codes?
