Yesterday Night? Maybe last night would have worked too? LOL Just playin man. Was it running hot by any chance? I used to have a Trans Am and I know the sound you are talking about. It's like a gurgling sound right? Check the coolant level, if it's low I would say start the car and add water till you get it filled. That always stopped my TA from gurgling. I was told that this sound could be air pockets in the cooling system and adding coolant while it runs will flush them out. emoji

I've had that problem in the past too. Only the pockets of air became pockets of steam, which would cause my temp gauge to go all over the place. LOL Can you pinpoint the noise more specifically sir? Front of the car behind the radio I imagine? That's where the heater core is located and, if you're low on coolant, it will gurgle on you from time to time (mostly at start up).

As for the leaking oil problem, check you collant overflow bottle. If that shit is greasy, say hello to Mr. Time-to-Change-the-Headgasket imo. emoji

the coolant was low so i filled it up. i never have any coolant in my other tank. and yes it is a gurgling sound right behind the radio. my temp gauge stays normal between 190 and 210. (aftermarket)

I bet the coolant was the culprit sir. I think you should have some in the overflow, but emoji LOL

So, um, is it all better now? Anxiety soothed n whatnot?

EDIT:
Glad to hear it wasn't anything serious. Man. If you broke down with your boy with you, he'd be telling all the tow truck drivers to keep on going because Superman would be along shortly. emoji

that sound seems to be normal even on cars with full coolant levels. its sporadic and wierd, just like our electrical systems.

last time i toped off the coolant i started overheating. turns out there was a huge air (steam) pocket, so i cold-started the car w/ the thermostat cap (or whatever thats called, lol) off, and a bunch of bubbles came out. topped her off again and shes fine now!

:shhh: i do cocaine :/shhh:
