#75107, "I Hear Fluid Like Noise When I Start My Car"

Lately I've been hearing the sound of fluid moving when I start my car in the morning and when I press the gas it makes the sound of surging fluids. The sound SEEMS as if its coming from the dash but i know that the case but thats how loud it is. I was wondering if anyone else have ever had this problem b4 and if so what they did to solve the problem.

background on my car.
I have a new timing change belt, Spark plugs, wires, Fuel filter, Air Filter, PS and AC belt ( but my PS belt keep messing up this is the second one I've been through within 3 months. The Dealership Didnt change my water pump so that might be it but I've never heard of those symptoms.

The only mods i have are an UDP,and an APEXI N1 2.5 catback

Sounds like the heater valve may be staying open allowing water to flow through the heater core???

You're probably just slightly low on coolant and hearing it flow through the heater core when the waterpump spins up as the motor starts. Nothing to be afraid of.

i had the same problem with my 95 gs, it sounded like it was coming from the heater vents in the middle of the dash. Then i blew a head gasket and had that redone along with machining the heads. That solved my fluid noise problem also. So it might be your headgasket going. Let me know what you find out. Hope i was a help for you. Later.

It's air in your coolant lines gurgling through the heater core.

Add some coolant, and if you keep having problems look for a leak. New thermostat never hurts. If it ever overheats at a stoplight or you your heater blows cold for a few seconds then suspect a blown headgasket.
