I am currently getting my bottom end rebuilt, .020 JE pistons, eagle rods, bearings, basically bulletproof, head is brand new cast head with all new internals this is because i shot #3 spark plug out of the head 9 months ago, napa sold me wrong plugs, and tap and dye set and yeah thanks napa. Anyway new cast head with pt lifter lashers, crane springs and retainers, port and polished, little bowl work, new valves, new MSD coil and wires, super afc thinking about computer, A/F gauge, EGT gauge, UDP understandable about the belts guys have the problem still hope to fix, after alot of replacing pointless bearings and mounts and pulleys. Port and polished intake manifold, 60mm throttle body, Now comes a couple of questions i don't think i will have the horsepower to put in 650 cc injectors more lookin like 550 cc right, okay fuel pump? I saw one thru howell anyone try or have gone with this one or is an in line fuel pump better. Also how about problems with axles i figured it would be a good question to ask since horsepower increases are a little more then normal for my 420a. Also has anyone used the Crank scrapper thru MACHV? Let me know if you have heard anything. I will be back will pro's and con's of my engine rebuild.
